Jenna Nienhuis is a creative writer and eco-artist who has been exploring the wild pockets of Southern California since childhood. Her work weaves together themes of womanhood, spirituality, and the meaning of “home” through the lens of the natural world. Jenna holds a Master’s degree in Nature + Travel writing from Bath Spa University in the UK. She is the creator of Poppy Trading Cards — a collection of nature-inspired trading cards — and her work has been featured in Wildsam Magazine and Wanderlings the Zine. A mother of three young daughters, who have named themselves “the three little birds,” she can be found barefoot somewhere on a beach or trail, likely facilitating a bush wee.
